See below for a list of our upcoming monthly, weekend workshops for early childhood teachers and parents.

All workshops are taught by trainers who have more than 35 years of teaching professional development and meet Texas State Licensing requirements. Certificates provided with each workshop. 

ALL workshops will be held at the DAPE:

First United Methodist Church, 801 W. Ave. B, Garland TX 75040

DIRECTIONS: First United Methodist Church is located at the corner of Glenbrook and Ave. B in central Garland. Parking is located across the street from the church on Ave. B. Park here, then cross at the light. Behind the video sign is a walkway leading down to the classroom LE 10 which is on the lower level on the East side of the church.

Lunches are not included.

NOTE: These workshops are about children but NOT for children. Thank you for not bringing yours.

All trainers meet Texas Standards.

All classes are 4-5 clock hours and $20-$25 unless otherwise stated.

“Brown Bear, Brown Bear… What do teachers see?”

Explore the books of author and illustrator Eric Carle. Learn new art, music and play-FULL activities using his books, such as “Brown Bear”, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar”, and many more!

“Help! I’m an Infant/Toddler Teacher!!”
