Cold days and inside time can increase guidance problems with children. Explore ways to guide and discipline that will help children learn valuable skills. This class will also cover fun activities for inside fun to keep children busy and learning through the winter months.

Baby Day

The focus of this class will be SIDS(Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) and
SBS (Shaken Baby Syndrome). Included in this class will be infant development
and “red flag” developmental concerns.
This class meets the yearly Texas Minimum Standards for Licensing.

Summer Fun

This interactive, hands-on class will give you lots of ideas for the summer. Water play, art, dramatic play and science designed for the summer months. Get ready for a fun summer with the children!

Building Blocks of Knowledge
Cost: $20 ** (4 clock hours)

Blocks: We all have them, but we rarely think about the possibilities of block play. Children develop socially, physically, intellectually and creatively through block play.

Parenting Classes
Cost: $65/person or $80/couple -Total cost for all six classes
Wednesdays 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Six week class)
Positive Parenting
You may start this class on any Wednesday and continue for six weeks to completion.
This class covers Self-esteem, Child Development, Setting Limits, Consequences, Play, Listening, Communication, Anger, Feelings, Creativity and Challenging Behaviors.
